Welcome Back Friends!

Hope you had a restful and relaxing winter break. We are so excited to be back in the swing of things. 

In math we have been learning about measuring length using standard and non-standard units. Measuring the classroom, our bodies, our names, and items found around the room is so much fun! What tools can you use at home to measure? 

We are developing our mathematical language by using new words like longer, shorter, same as, non-standard, and length. We will be measuring weight next week!

In Literacy groups we are continuing our work on sight words, rhyming words, spelling new words, reading strategies, and and retelling stories. Playing word games help solidify our understanding of new words.
