I Am a Writer

Students in Grade One have been practicing writing stories and responding to favourite stories shared together. We are working on setting goals for ourselves during our writing time. 

Does my writing make sense? 

Did I use a capital at the beginning of my sentence and a period at the end?

 Did I use finger spaces? 

Did I draw a detailed picture? 

Did I sound out all the letters I hear in the word I'm trying to spell?

Did I try my best?
